Cab view

Today I managed to score a ride in the cab of a train from Papakura to Britomart, and took this photo:

You can see the new and old signals, and the chopped-off east loop. Also, if you look carefully, you can see the alignment of the track ahead curving right slightly then turning left again. The track will eventually be skewed and become the middle of the three tracks, with the east loop joining up with the current Down main (going around the new signal).

So that's my excitement for the day. :)
